HOW TO ENTER: The Lennox "Get a Green Life" Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on March 17, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on June 6, 2008. You may enter this Sweepstakes by visiting www.getagreenlifesweepstakes.com, filling in the online entry form including providing a "green" tip and submitting it in accordance with the online instructions. Only one (1) online entry per person and/or per email address will be permitted. Use of any robotic/automated system or agent to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Online entries are deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The "authorized account holder" is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. All entries submitted become the sole property of Lennox Industries, Inc. (the "Sponsor"). By participating, entrants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor's and Sweepstakes Administrator's decisions, which shall be final. This Sweepstakes shall be governed by the privacy policy of Lennox Industries, which is available at the website.
ELIGIBILITY: To enter the Sweepstakes you must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, or a Canadian resident (except the Province of Quebec, where it is void), and be 21 years of age or older. Employees of the Sponsor, their affiliated companies, parents, subsidiaries, website developers and administrators, and advertising and promotion agencies, (collectively, the "Sweepstakes Entities"), and the immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, spouses and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes.
PRIZES: There is one (1) Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner will receive a prize package with an approximate retail value of up to $20,000 (US Dollars), and will consist of the winner's choice of either a Lennox Home Heating & Cooling system; or an eco-friendly landscaping package.
There will be two (2) First Prizes. Each First Prize winner will receive a Vivavi, eco-friendly furniture and home design center, gift certificate valued at $5,000 (US Dollars).
There will be ten (10) Second Prizes. Each Second Prize winner will receive their choice of one of the following prizes: a $250 Green-Kits.com Gift Certificate; or a $250 Green Home Environmental Store Gift Certificate. Each prize choice has an ARV (Approximate Retail Value) of $250 (US Dollars).
Total approximate value of all prizes to be awarded: $32,500 (US Dollars).
DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: The potential winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received in a random drawing to held on or about June 20, 2008 by an Independent Sweepstakes Administrator (the "ISA") whose decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winners will be notified by phone initially and confirmed in writing. If the potential winner cannot be reached within seven (7) calendar days from the first notification attempt, then such person may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner's permission for the Sweepstakes Entities to use his/her name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city and state address for promotional purposes, worldwide and in all forms of media, without further compensation. If a prizewinner selected is a Canadian resident, he/she will be required to correctly answer, with the aid of a mechanical device or the assistance of another individual, a mathematical skill question. Each winner will be required to execute an Affidavit/Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release and (except where prohibited) a Publicity Release within ten days of notification. If potential winner fails to return such documents within that time, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not comply with the Official Rules, then that individual will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. If any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, this will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any element of the Grand Prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for: (1) system errors and technical failures of any kind; (2) any incorrect information, whether caused by entrants, Sponsor or printing errors; (3) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; or (4) human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries. Entrants further agree that in any cause of action, the Sweepstakes Entities' liability will be limited to the cost of entering the Sweepstakes, and in no event will be Sweepstakes Entities be liable for attorneys' fees. Entrants waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, punitive, consequential, direct or indirect damages.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: If for any reason the online portion of this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, then Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the online portion of the Sweepstakes, and select winners from all entries received up to the point of termination. If an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost or otherwise corrupted, entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in a disruptive manner. Sponsor's failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. DISPUTES: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
